VW T3 coolant level warning relay "43"

There are 2 types of relays for the coolant level warning that were fitted in the VW T3 according to the year of manufacture.

As a general rule (although there may be exceptions) the older VW T3 models mounted the reference 191919376 (marked as relay 43) and the later ones the reference 191919376A (marked as relay 42).

Relay 43, when the coolant level is low, will cause the temp. gauge to display overheat in the upper range, even if the real temperature is not that.

Relay 42 works a bit better and continues to give a real temperature reading when the coolant level is low, but alerting with the flashing red led.

These relays are interchangeable, so the 42 can replace the 43 and be considered an upgrade of the latter.
